Utah Jazz Injury Report: What is the latest health update of Ace Bailey, will rookie start against Golden State Warriors?

The Utah Jazz will be playing their second match in the NBA Summer League against Golden State Warriors on Sunday, July 13th at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. All eyes would be on rookie Ace Bailey, will he feature against the Golden State Warriors or not. 

Will Ace Bailey play against Golden State Warriors?

It looks like Ace Bailey will be suiting up for Sunday's clash after missing out on the last game due to an injury. After missing the final game of the Salt Lake Summer League with a right groin strain, Bailey was expected to start against Hornets on Friday. However, he didn't start as he was on the bench again, after being ruled out due to hip flexor soreness.

The rookie featured in his team's first two games in Utah, as he made his debut against Philadelphia 76ers. He even registered nine points and seven rebounds. Despite the slow start, he picked up the pace in the second game after recording 12 points and seven rebounds in the 35 minutes that he clocked. 

However, after this game, Bailey has been a no-show for the Jazz but it is expected that he will be in the starting five against the Warriors. He is marked as active on ESPN's injury report and should probably make his Summer League debut on Sunday. John Tonje (ankle) and RJ Luis (knee) join Bailey on the team's injury report and will hope to clock some minutes against the Golden State Warriors. 

The Utah Jazz were unbeaten during the Salt Lake Summer League but suffered their first loss at the hands of Charlotte Hornets. This was their game of the ongoing Summer League and they lost the match 115-107. The franchise would be hoping to avenge their loss against the Golden State Warriors. Following this game, the Jazz will go up against San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards on July 14th and July 16th.
