Moreover, their chances have further slumped as the team's star forward Jayson Tatum has sustained a lower leg injury in Game 4. Tatum was taken to the locker room, sparking fears of a possible Achilles injury that could end his season.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst revealed what the mood was in the Celtics dressing room after suffering the devastating defeat at Madison Square Garden.
"Our Tim Bontemps was in the Celtics locker room after the game. He said it was the quietest locker room he'd ever heard," Windhorst revealed via Hoops Central.
There are two things that can happen from here. One would be that the Celtics could not return from here, and the second thing would be that the defeat could unite them, and they go on to make history.
