The New Orleans-based team dropped a concerning update on Jordan Poole on Friday. The guard was diagnosed with a mild left vastus lateralis (quad) strain and ruled out for at least a week. The former Golden State Warriors player also missed the team's last game against the Mavericks.
Dejounte Murray (right Achilles rupture) and Yves Missi (illness) also remain sidelined, leaving the Pelicans' squad shorthanded. Murray is yet to make his season debut, while Missi misses his third back-to-back game. Meanwhile, Trey Alexander has (G League two-way) and Hunter Dickinson (G league two-way) are also ruled out
