What did Chet Holmgren post about his potential return?

On Thursday morning, February 6th, there were reports that Holmgren has been removed from the injury list and is eyeing a return to the court. He has been out of action since November 10th, after suffering a hip injury during their clash against the Golden State Warriors. 

Several insiders gave their opinions on the report as Holmgren took to his Instagram to announce the exciting news. He chose to keep it short and crisp with a two-word message ahead of his return. 

I'm Back, Holmgren wrote on Instagram.

The 22-year-old is slated to be back in action on Friday night as the team takes on Toronto Raptors. The Raptors made some big signings in the trade after acquiring Brandon Ingram from the New Orleans Pelicans. 

In the 10 games that Holmgren has played this season, he averaged 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks. 

Chet Holmgren uses Batman reference in his post

Not only did Chet Holmgren post about his return but he did it in a way using a superhero reference to help build the excitement. 

In his latest post, he photoshopped a photo of Batman looking at his signal. Instead of the hero looking at his iconic logo, the picture has the big man's jersey number.

As Holmgren makes his return, the Thunder will precisely have around eight weeks before the postseason. The big man is one of the top contributors for the Thunders and will play a crucial role in their quest to contend.

With his comeback decided, the Thunder finally get to experiment with their two big lineups. Over the summer, the team signed Isaiah Hartenstein but due to injury issues, both have not shared the court together. That will soon change as Holmgren is all set to make his return.
