The legend of Chicago Bulls, Scottie Pippen's ex-wife Larsa Pippen, who was the former girlfriend of Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan revealed that she is open to dating someone who is non-famous and is not a public figure.
What did Larsa Pippen say when asked about dating someone not famous?
Larsa Pippen was asked via Instagram if she would consider dating someone who is not famous and she replied, "Yes."
Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen married back in 1997 and their relationship went through several hardships before they announced their separation back in 2021. They had been married for around 24 years.
The next notable relationship for Larsa Pippen was with Marcus Jordan, who is the son of National Basketball Association (NBA) legend, Michael Jordan. They shared a 16-year age gap difference. They both were in an on-and-off relationship and confirmed their breakup earlier this year.
While talking to Yahoo Sports, Larsa Pippen confirmed their breakup and said, "I just think we are on a different journey, and I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing. I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me."
Throughout the year 2023, there were rumours of Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's engagement but both denied. Marcus even mentioned that if they both get married, he wants his father Michael Jordan to be his best man.
My relationship with Marcus Jordan is not a big deal with Scottie Pippen: Larsa Pippen
In an interview with ET back in July this year, Larsa Pippen de-emphasized her relationship with Marcus Jordan. She even clarified that it was not a big deal for her ex-husband Scottie Pippen as people might have assumed because he was the son of his former teammate.
"My ex and I don’t really discuss our relationships. We mostly focus on our kids. I feel like people thought my relationship with Marcus was a bigger deal in our families than it really was. I promise you, it wasn’t," Larsa Pippen said.
After being in an on-and-off relationship, Larsa Pippen confirmed it was officially over with Marcus Jordan. "I think it’s off. I mean, it’s off, it is off. I feel like I’m good. I’m good," Larsa Pippen added.
After being single for a while, Larsa Pippen's focus has entirely shifted towards her kids. She and Scottie Pippen have four kids together and their names are Scotty Jr., Preston Pippen, Justin Pippen and Sophia.
"I’m spending this summer focusing on my kids, friends, and family. I just need to enjoy it and figure out what Larsa wants," Larsa Pippen concluded.
