LeBron James caught visibly angry with son mid-game during Lakers’ loss to Mavericks
The rookie threw a chest pass that was tipped out of bounds instead of the bounce pass his father expected. Late in the third quarter, with the Lakers trailing, Bronny attempted to deliver the ball to LeBron down low against Mavericks defender Marvin Bagley III.
The high pass was knocked away, prompting the 41-year-old superstar to immediately gesture and instruct his 21-year-old son on the correct read, according to NBC broadcast commentary.
Broadcaster noted the moment captured both "LeBron the veteran" and "LeBron the dad" delivering a stern look and quick lesson on the court. Despite the viral father-son exchange, LeBron posted strong numbers with 30 points, 15 assists, and 9 rebounds in the loss.
Meanwhile, the Lakers are 3rd in the Western Conference with a 50-28 record. They are set to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the upcoming game at home court.
