Durant has been ruled out following mysterious circumstances. According to Shams Charania, the 37-year-old won’t ve available against his former teams due to “a family matter.” As of now, nothing more has been revealed about his absence in the upcoming games. ESPN’s Charania wrote on his official X (formerly Twitter) account:
“Houston Rockets star Kevin Durant will miss Monday's game in Phoenix and Wednesday's contest in Golden State tending to a family matter, sources tell ESPN.”
Durant has been averaging 24.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in the 14 games he has played this season. On the other hand, the Rockets are 4th in the Western Conference with a 10-4 record. Following the two important matches against the Suns and the Warriors, the Rockets will play back-to-back games against the Utah Jazz.
