Story Highlights:

Antetokounmpo logged 40 healthy minutes vs. the Hornets and is on track to face Luka Doncic in Saturday’s marquee matchup.

Milwaukee aims to snap its long streak without consecutive wins as they host the Lakers at Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo will most probably play against the LA Lakers on Saturday. The Milwaukee Bucks star has been suffering with a left knee patellar tendinopathy, which forced him to stay on the sidelines for two games.

Antetokounmpo was on the bench in the game against the Hornets but returned when the team faced each other again on Friday.

Latest update on Giannis Antetokounmpo

He was placed as 'probable' for the game against the Hornets. The Bucks played for 40 minutes on the court to win the game 147-134. He wrapped up the game without any injury scars. After taking a rest midweek, Antetokounmpo should be in a great place to play against his MVP rival, Luka Doncic.

The Bucks have not suggested much to hint at the star resting on the second night of a back-to-bac. Antetokounmpo has played in such games this season. The Bucks have not registered a win in consecutive games since October 30, so they will hope to change that.
