Will Rohit Sharma play against Afghanistan in the ODI series?
After suffering a hamstring injury in IPL 2026, there were doubts on Rohit Sharma's participation in the ODI series against Afghanistan. However, Rohit has cleared all the mandatory fitness tests at the Centre of Excellence (CoE) and he is all set to represent India against Afghanistan.
Coming to Rohit's batting form, the star opener started the IPL with a great knock however the unwanted injury forced him to appear in every match of the side. However, he made a comeback in the last few games and finished the season on a decent note, as it could have been better. Given Rohit's recent form in the ODI format, it is safe to say that he could score big runs once he gets in.
