Former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has responded to Jasprit Bumrah's 'inaccurate before, inaccurate again' on his last social media post. This was started when pace spearhead Bumrah called out former cricketer Mohammad Kaif over incorrectly assessing his physical fitness on X.
India's legendary speedster Bumrah quoted Kaif's tweet and vehemently disagreed with the latter's analysis that the pacer was not bowling in the death overs to avoid any injuries. Now, Kaif has shared his take on the entire matter, stating that he made a “cricketing observation” and that there is nothing more to it than what meets the eye.
He also did some damage control, calling Bumrah the “biggest match-winner for India.”
“Please take this as a cricketing observation from a well-wisher and an admirer. You are India cricket's biggest match-winner, and I know what it takes to give it all when on the field wearing India colours,” Kaif wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday afternoon.
Notably, Bumrah is currently featuring in the Asia Cup 2025, where he picked up five wickets in four outings of the tournament. After the Asia Cup, the 31-year-old speedster will be seen in action in the upcoming two-Test match series against West Indies, which is scheduled to start from October 02.
