Kuldeep Sen will travel to UAE as India's net bowler for Asia Cup 2022. Kuldeep has been picked on the back of his impressive performance in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.

Kuldeep took eight wickets from seven games in his debut IPL for Rajasthan Royals (RR). His best bowling display came against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He took four wickets for 20 runs in Royals' win. He had a bowling average of 29.63 and an economy rate of 9.42 runs per over.

The 25-year-old was picked up by Royals for his base price of Rs 20 lakh.

Kuldeep made his First Class debut as a teenager in 2018 for Madhya Pradesh against Tamil Nadu. Soon enough, he made his T20 debut in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in February 2019.

India will start their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28. The defending champions will be without services of their pacer-bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and death overs speciallist. Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan have replaced the duo in the squad for the tournament.
