India set a target of 182 runs for Pakistan to chase down but the target could have been a lot more if the usually dependable middle order performed at their usual ability. After the top three of Rohit Sharma (28) and KL Rahul (28) scored a combined 56 runs for the Men in Blue, the Indians had a great chance to touch the 200-run mark. But Suryakumar Yadav (13), Hardik Pandya (0) and Rishabh Pant (14) were unable to provide support for Virat Kohli, scoring 27 runs between them.

And skipper Rohit Sharma made his anger known to his middle order batters, especially Pandya and Pant, who were dismissed in a very cheap manner in what is an important match for India in the Asia Cup. The duo were caught on camera getting schooled by Rohit in the dressing room as Kohli anchored India's innings, scoring 60 off 44 balls himself.

In this video, which is now doing rounds on social media, shows Rohit telling Pant what he did wrong with his shot. The wicketkeeper-batter tried to reverse sweep Shabad Khan's googly which was bowled on the outside leg. He mistimed the attempt which went straight to Asif Ali.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Hasnain was the aggressor who took the wicket of Hardik Pandya, with Mohammad Nawaz taking an excellent catch. It was a cross-seam delivery around off that after Pandya moved slightly towards off, he lost control of his shot as he up punching the ball. He fluffed the shot that went to short midwicket as Nawaz dived his left to take the ball with both his hands.
