Nepal have announced their 17-member ODI squad on August 14 for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023. Rohit Paudel will be leading the Nepal side. Under his captaincy, Nepal beat the United Arab Emirates in Acc Premier Cup to qualify for Asia Cup.

It will be a historic appearance for Nepal as it will be their first appearance in Asia Cup. Before the mega event, Nepal will have a preparatory camp in Pakistan. They will go up against teams designated by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) before the tournament opener.

The Asia Cup will be a big stage for them to prove their mettle, especially after they suffered a setback in World Cup qualifiers.

Nepal’s group stage schedule

Nepal will begin their Asia campaign in the tournament opener against hosts Pakistan at Multan Cricket Stadium on August 30. Then they will face India on September 4 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. If Nepal manage to register even a single win it will be considered a huge upset.
