Rohit Sharma's brigade secured a thumping six-wicket win over Australia in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar series at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday (February 19). Yet again India summed up the match within three days to take a 2-0 lead of the four-match Test series. Indian bowlers looked in hurry on Day 3 as they snared nine of the Australian wickets inside the first session of the day as the visitors were bundled out for 113, thanks to Ravindra Jadeja's wizardry of 7/42. India then overhauled the lowly target with six wickets in hand as Cheteshwar Pujara, who was playing his 100th Test smashed the winning runs.
Amid India's triumphant show, India's head coach finally revealed the truth behind the viral video which made headlines on Day 2 where Virat Kohli was seen elated after receiving a food parcel in the dressing room while having a discussion with Rahul Dravid. The food was earlier assumed to be ‘Chhole Bhature’ by the cricket fans and the commentators but Dravid has put a full stop on several such theories floating on the social media regarding the nature of the food. Following India's victory, Dravid revealed that the food was 'Kulchha Chhole' not ‘Chhole Bhature’ as he also shared a funny story surrounding it.
After Men in Blue's victory Dravid in an interview with Star Sports talked on various topics surrounding the side's emphatic win. Dravid was asked about the food saga with Kohli on Day 2 of the Test
"It wasn't Chole Bhature, it was Kulcha Chole. He was tempting me with it, but I said I'm 50 years old, I can't handle so much cholesterol anymore,” he said with a laugh.
Here's the video…
Virat Kohli managed 44 and 20 in the second Test and looked at ease against the Australian spinners. Team India head coach lauded Kohli's technique against the spinners.
"I thought the judgement of length was really good, there was a sense of calm when he was playing which is a great sign," said Dravid.
"These are tricky wickets, you can’t play the perfect innings and you need a bit of luck to go your way," he further added.
