New Zealand's two-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their first Test paved the way for India in the WTC final as the Men in Blue will meet Australia in the all-important clash. India outclassed Australia in the first two Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to achieve the worst possible points percentage of 57 per cent in the World Test Championship standings. With Sri Lanka suffering a defeat in the series opener against New Zealand, Karunaratne's side can only finish their campaign with the best possible WTC points percentage of 53 per cent.

Meanwhile, India skipper broke silence on Kohli's health concerns after the uproar about latter's sickness while batting on Day 4. On a day that saw Virat Kohli making a lot of history, famed Indian actress Anushka Sharma, who is also his wife, revealed that the former India skipper was batting through sickness on Day 4 of the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 12.

"Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always," She wrote in an Instagram story. Ever since the post was doing rounds on social media which left Kohli's fans worrying about his well being.

Meanwhile, after the close of Day 5, India star all-rounder Axar Patel, who played a crucial knock of 79 in India's 1st innings, upon asked the question about Kohli's health said, "I don't know. The way he was running between the wickets, it didn't look like he was sick. In such hot weather, he forged a such a great partnership and ran so well. It was fun batting with him."

Rohit was too asked the same question in the post match press conference to which he responded,"I don't think he is sick; he was just coughing a little bit, but I don't think it's that bad health wise."

"Regarding Virat, I don't think there was any monkey on his back. When you're around a player like that, when you see how they go about their business, you don't feel that kind of thing going in his head or he's thinking about anything. He is just thinking about the moment. He wants to put up big performance for the team which he has done in the past so many years, and wants to do that everytime he gets the opportunity to do it for India. I don't think he is sick; he was just coughing a little bit, but I don't think it's that bad health wise," added Rohit.
