Star Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The right-arm pacer will fly back to Australia to "continue his rehabilitation from an Achilles complaint that has sidelined him from the first two Tests". The development comes just a few hours after the Baggy Greens skipper Pat Cummins flew back to Australia owing to 'personal reasons'.

The Australian skipper will spend some time in Sydney before returning to India to participate in the third Test match in Indore, which is scheduled to begin on March 01.

"Pat Cummins has flown home for personal reasons due to a serious family illness. He will return to India later this week to rejoin preparations for the third Test in Indore," Cricket Australia told Sports Tak.

Amidst growing problems in the Australian camp, there is some good news as well. Head coach Andrew McDonald confirmed that all-rounder Cameron Green has completely recovered from his injury and will be '100 percent fit' for the Indore Test. The Aussie coach also said that Mitchell Starc is in line to regain full fitness ahead of the third Test.
Cricket Australia (CA) is yet to announce a replacement for Hazlewood.

Australia squad for 3rd and 4th Test: Pat Cummins (c), Ashton Agar, Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Peter Handscomb, Travis Head, Usman Khawaja, Matt Kuhnemann, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Lance Morris, Todd Murphy, Matthew Renshaw, Steve Smith (vc), Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, David Warner
