How Fakhar Zaman's replacement Imam-ul-Haq has performed against India in ODIs

Pakistan's ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final hero, Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the ongoing tournament due to an injury he sustained during the clash against New Zealand. Imam-ul-Haq has been replacement. Here's how he has fared against India in ODIs so far -
 

Imam-ul-Haq played his first ODI against India in Asia Cup 2018. In Dubai, he edged one to MS Dhoni off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He departed after scoring two runs from seven balls. Pakistan lost that match by eight wickets.
 

In the next match of Asia Cup 2018, Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed lbw by leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. He scored 10 runs from 20 balls. Pakistan lost the match by nine wickets.
 

Imam-ul-Haq's next ODI appearance against India was in ODI World Cup 2019. In the run chase of 337, Imam scored seven runs from 18 balls. He was dismissed lbw by Vijay Shankar. India won the game by 89 runs as per DL method.
 

Four years later, Imam had another shot at redemption. Chasing a target of 357 in Asia Cup 2023 clash, Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed by Jasprit Bumrah. He scored just nine runs from 18 balls. Pakistan were bowled out for 128 and lost by 228 runs.
 

In the ODI World Cup 2023, Imam-ul-Haq registered his highest ODI score against India. Imam got off to a good start but edged one to wicketkeeper KL Rahul off Hardik Pandya's bowling. He scored 36 runs from 38 balls. Pakistan were bowled out for 191 and lost the game by seven wickets.
 

Overall, Imam-ul-Haq has scored 65 runs from five innings at an average of 12.80 and strike rate of 63.36. Apart from two disappointing scores against India in Dubai, he scored an unbeaten half-century at the venue against Hong Kong.
