South Africa will face New Zealand in Champions Trophy's second semifinal.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice president Rajeev Shukla will travel to Pakistan to witness the second semifinal of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. South Africa and New Zealand will lock horns against each other for the semifinal that will take place in Pakistan's Lahore.

What happens if the South Africa vs New Zealand Champions Trophy semifinal is washed out?

While announcing the schedule of the Champions Trophy, ICC mentioned that there will be a reserve day for the semifinals and final of the mega event. If the semifinal washes out on March 5, it will take place on March 6, and if both days wash out, then the team with more points will qualify for the final.

The venue for the final of the mega event will also be decided after the India vs Australia semifinal clash. If India defeats Australia, then the semifinal will take place in Dubai. Otherwise Pakistan's Lahore will host the title decider.

Defending champions Pakistan are out of the tournament without winning a single clash of the mega event. They lost their opener clash against New Zealand and after that India defeated the Mohammad Rizwan-led side by four wickets. Their third clash against Bangladesh washed out.
