NZ vs SL: Kane Williamson elects to field in high-stakes game, both teams make one change each in playing XI

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the all-important toss and elected to field in the ODI World Cup match against Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 9 (Thursday). The Blackcaps made one change to their playing XI with Lockie Ferguson replacing Ish Sodhi. Sri Lanka also made one change with Chamika Karunaratne replacing Kasun Rajitha in the playing XI.

With just one semi-final place up for grabs, the Blackcaps need a win against Sri Lanka to bolster their hopes of qualifying for the semis. 

Sri Lanka are already out of the semi-final race and would look to end their campaign on a positive note. The Islanders have played eight matches, winning just two fixtures and losing six games.
