In a series of surprising interests, Vaibhav's younger brother, 10-year-old Aashirwad Sooryavanshi, smashed a century while playing in a local academy in Bihar's Samastipur district.

Another Sooryavanshi on a roll
Taking to social media, Vaibhav shared a screenshot of the scorecard showing Aashirwad's impressive ton for Cricket Academy Tajpur. The younger Sooryavanshi showcased a similar flair for boundaries, smashing 20 fours and a six in his 103-run innings of just 87 deliveries.
As Aashirwad takes his early steps in the sport, elder brother Vaibhav's rise shows no signs of slowing down. Fresh off a record-breaking IPL 2026 season that saw him score close to 800 runs, the teenage star secured his first India call-up and etched his name in history as the youngest-ever Orange Cap winner.
Big chance for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi
Currently, Vaibhav is a part of the India A's squad playing in a Tri-Nation Series in Sri Lanka, which also features Afghanistan A in the hosts. Notably, Vaibhav earned his maiden senior call-up for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England.
It will be a big chance for him to prove himself at the biggest stage, and he will aim to take full advantage of whatever the opportunities he gets in the series against Ireland and England.
