Team India star batter Suryakumar Yadav disguised himself as a cameraman and went on the streets of Mumbai ahead of the Men in Blue's ODI World Cup match against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium on November 2 (Thursday). The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the hilarious video in which Suryakumar - the cameraman - went to the famous Marine Drive and asked questions from the public.
Wearing a cap, mask and a full shirt to hide his tattoos, Suryakumar was not recognised by the people at Marine Drive and also by his teammate Ravindra Jadeja.

Talking about Suryakumar - the batter - the right-handed explosive willow-wielder played a crucial knock against England in India's previous match in Lucknow. In difficult and challenging conditions, the Mumbaikar scored 49 runs off 47 balls with the help of four fours and a six. Suryakumar's contribution with the bat played a pivotal role in the Men in Blue's 100-run victory over the defending champions.
Suryakumar will now be seen in action against Sri Lanka on November 2 at his home ground. The right-handed batter has so far had only two outings with the bat in the ongoing World Cup. Against New Zealand, Suryakumar was unfortunate as he was dismissed run out after confusion with Virat Kohli.
Currently, India leads the World Cup 2023 points table with 12 points from six games, positioning themselves comfortably at the top. In their upcoming matches, India is scheduled to face Sri Lanka in a repeat of the 2011 World Cup final at the Wankhede Stadium, followed by a clash with South Africa in Kolkata.
