Captain Rohit Sharma has finally cleared air on Shubman Gill's availability for the India versus Pakistan's high-voltage ODI World Cup clash which will be played at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 13.
Shubman was down with dengue and missed India's first two World Cup matches against Australia and Netherlands.
But Shubman showed speedy recovery and was taken to Ahmedabad on October 11. He was also seen toiling hard in India's practice session in Ahmedabad on October 12.

Meanwhile in the pre-match conference India skipper Rohit gave his verdict on Gill's availability for the big game. He said," 99% shubman is available for the clash against Pakistan."
Unlike Pakistan skippr Babar Azam, Rohit played down the toss factor in the high-octane game.
“In Delhi, we were expecting see but it didn't come in. Toss will not be a factor, whatever we are comfortable with, we will do,” Rohit said.
India and Pakistan have so far played seven matches in the ODI World Cup and Men in Blue have a great track record against the arch-rivals as they have won all the battles.
This will be eighth time that the arch-nemesis will be up against each other.
When asked about India's 7-0 record vs Pakistan, Rohit said,"I am not a person who looks at all such stats. We focus on how we can play good cricket. Both the teams will start fresh. I don't think there's any favourite. For us, it is important to focus on what we want to do and carry the momentum forward."
“Have not been on social media for the past number months. Players have to work their way out in dealing things. It's a massive game tomorrow and we have a quality team against us, hopefully we can show some consistency in the game,” Rohit added.
On being asked about playing in front of massive crowds, Rohit said,"Everyone is used to playing in front of big crowds. It can only work in your favour. People turn out in huge numbers which is good for the sport."
“No such disadvantage. It's good to play in front of the home ground. My overall experience is we've got massive support every where in the world. Home support is an advantage to us, but to win we have to play good cricket,” Rohit concluded.
