After launching multiple attacks on the current crop of Pakistan players, Ex-Pakistan spinner, Danish Kaneria has once again taken to x.com (fomerly Twitter) to apparently call out the hypocrisy of the fans of his country with a scathing remark.
"I am seeing on my timeline almost every person is abusing or angry over Pakistani team’s performance in World Cup. But if i will say something, they will paint me as anti-pakistani," he wrote on x.com (formerly Twitter).
This was after a poor display on the field from the Pakistan players drew a lot of criticism from fans on social media.

Fans were as unhappy with the performance of his team as Kaneria, with Pakistan giving their opponents Afghanistan a target of 283 runs for the win. Multiple misfields, compiled with a shoddy bowling performance have given Afghanistan a chance to seal an emphatic victory, with the side currently on 183/1 at the end of 31 overs. They now need 100 runs with nine wickets to their name.
This has come after he strongly criticised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in response to a tweet from the PCB's Media account on X (previously known as Twitter) on October 17 (Tuesday). The tweet stated that the PCB has lodged an official complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) concerning 'improper behaviour directed at the Pakistan team during the India vs Pakistan match' and also about 'visa delays for Pakistani journalists'.
India vs Pakistan
Discussing the India vs Pakistan match held on October 14 (Saturday) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Rohit Sharma's team dominated the game, clinching a decisive seven-wicket win with 19.3 overs remaining.
Skipper Rohit delivered a stellar performance, scoring a remarkable 86 runs, which included six boundaries and an equal number of sixes. Shreyas Iyer contributed with a notable unbeaten fifty, while the bowlers, with Jasprit Bumrah at the forefront, executed their strategies flawlessly.
