India’s run in T20 World Cup 2024

India opened their account with a comprehensive eight-wicket win over Ireland after bowling them out for 96 on a bowler-friendly New York track. Their next clash was against arch-rivals Pakistan. India were bowled out for 119. But Jasprit Bumrah-led bowling attack caused a collapse in the second half of the run chase. India beat Pakistan by six runs.

India faced co-hosts USA in their third game. USA set a target of 111 which became tricky after Saurabh Netravalkar dismissed Rohit and Virat Kohli. However, Suryakumar Yadav's unbeaten fifty helped India win the game by seven wickets with 10 balls to spare. India’s fourth match was against Canada in Florida was abandoned due to wet outfield.
