New target

The international matches might have been over for Dhull for the time being but there is no time for him to rest as the World Cup-winning skipper is set to feature for the Delhi team in Ranji Trophy and also he will have his eyes set on the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auctions as well. The IPL 2022 mega auctions will take place in Bengaluru, on February 12 and 13.

While talking about winning the U-19 World Cup, Dhull said that “it is now past” and he wants to think about “how to move forward.”

"Winning the World Cup is now past. I am now thinking about how to move forward. Because I have got a place in Delhi Ranji team and now there is a lot to do ahead,” Dhull explained

During the World Cup, Dhull and other players were found to be positive for the Covid-19 virus. While recalling the period, Dhull said that they “were a little nervous at that time" but “the bonding was great and helped us move forward”

“When all of us were found to be corona positive, we were a little nervous at that time. But everyone knows that VVS Laxman sir was present with us. He talked to us a lot and kept us mentally strong, which helped us a lot and was always a team player. We stayed connected to each other, so the bonding was great and helped us move forward,” Dhull recalled.
