Australia star batter Travis Head played a knock of 140 runs during the second Test match against India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The southpaw dedicated his 8th Test ton to his newborn baby Harrison Head. This was Head's third century in the pink-ball Test.
Head's family was also there in Adelaide when he smashed his fastest pink ball century and the batter tapped his stomach and then cradled his bat, gesturing towards his wife and newborn son, Harrison George Head, who were present at the stadium.
His wife Jessica who was on seventh heaven after the Australian batter lit up the Adelaide Oval with a spectacular century against Rohit Sharma's India said that she could not get anything better than that. She also revealed that Adelaide is Head's favourite place.
"It was amazing; I mean it can't get anything better than scoring a hundred here at Adelaide. This is a home-ground for both me and Travis. This is a very special place for Travis, one of his favourite places to play. Doing it in front of his family and friends, we have just got a newborn, and it was his first game, and it was awesome," Jessica said.
"He got a hundred in Milla's first game, and then he got a hundred in Harry's first game. It was special. He loves his family, he loves his friends. He really cares about doing it in front of the people he loves," Jessica added.
Travis Head also scored 89 in the second innings of the Perth Test, where India won by 295 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Coming back to the match, Team India are on the verge of losing the second Test match as Indian batters failed to perform in the ongoing clash. Travis Head is the only batter so far who managed to score a ton in the ongoing day/night pink ball clash. India ended day 2 for 128/5, trailing by 29 runs and staring at an uphill task at Adelaide.
