Jasprit Bumrah-led India are on the verge of winning the first Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 which is taking place at The Optus Stadium in Perth. Indian bowlers were seen dominating against the defending World Test Champions. India are on the brink of a dominant victory, showcasing their superiority in the high-stakes clash.

India stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah is doing with his bowling on Day 4. He dismissed India's threat Travis Head on a superb delivery that showcased his world-class skill. Bowling around the wicket, Bumrah sent down a length ball that nipped away just enough to kiss Head’s outside edge, leaving the batter with no answer. Rishabh Pant made no mistake behind the stumps, completing the vital dismissal.

Former India captain Virat Kohli who is known for his on-field aggression was seen celebrating animatedly alongside Jasprit Bumrah after the premier speedster got Travis Head. The video of Kohli and Bumrah has gone viral on social sphere, here is the clip. 
 

Earlier, Kohli smashed his 30th Test century in Perth helping India to give a target of 530 runs to the hosts. Apart from Kohli, young Yashasvi Jaiswal who was playing his maiden Test match in Australian soil smashed 161 runs after getting out on a duck in first innings.

The ongoing Test series is important for India to seal their spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final which is scheduled to take place in England next year.

India needs to register 4-0 win in the five-Test match series to confirm their berth in WTC final without depending on other team's outcomes.
