'Position that we are in right now, we would....': Washington Sundar makes bold prediction on Lord’s Test outcome after India lose four wickets before Day 4 stumps, watch VIDEO

India spinner Washington Sundar reckons that his team will win the third Test match against England at Lord's Stadium in London before the lunch break. After bundling out England on 192 runs, India managed to score 33 runs before the end of the day. India now needs 135 runs to win the third Test.

Sundar also admitted that India were in a spot of bother before the day ended as they lost four quick wickets in the last session.

"Probably just after lunch" Sundar told broadcasters after Day 4's play. "Yeah, I mean, the position that we are in right now, we would definitely take it. And probably for one, at Stumps today would have been ideal. Yes, the way we bowled. All the fast bowlers, in particular, the way they came out today and kept the pressure going on throughout the day was amazing," added Sundar

Coming back to the match, at stumps, last innings centurion KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 33 after Ben Stokes cleaned up night-watchman Akash Deep with the last ball of the day.

India failed to get a good start as they lost their top order Yashasvi Jaiswal (0), Karun Nair (14), and skipper Shubman Gill (6) cheaply to trail by 135 runs heading into the final day.

Earlier, England were bowled out for 192 in their second innings in 62.1 overs. Spin all-rounder Washington Sundar (4/22) starred with four wickets, while Mohammed Siraj (2/31) and Jasprit Bumrah (2/38) picked two each. Akash Deep also accounted for one wicket.

Resuming the third session at 175 for 6, England lost their last four wickets for just 17 runs. Washington dismissed Stokes (33) shortly after tea and removed the last man, Shoaib Bashir (2). Bumrah claimed the scalps of Chris Woakes (10) and Brydon Carse (1).
