Amidst the ongoing second Test match between India and England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, BCCI captured a heartfelt moment where Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was seen having an interaction with a visually impaired fan Ravi, who is a cricket enthusiast.

The 23-year-old was impressed by Ravi's knowledge of the game, including references to spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar.
“You have so much information! You're really into cricket,” Jaiswal remarked.
Impressed by the young kid's knowledge, Jaiswal gifted him a signed bat as a memento.
“I have a gift for you…my bat. I would like you to keep it just as my memory. It’s amazing to see you and meet you, very lovely to be here with you,” he said.
The message on the bat read, “With best wishes to Ravi with care and love.”
Apart from this heartfelt gesture , Jaiswal also admitted his nervousness on meeting the 12-year old Ravi.
“Hello Ravi, how are you? I am Yashasvi, nice to meet you. I was really excited to meet you because I know that you have been a big fan of cricket and actually I don’t know why I am nervous to meet you,” Jaiswal told Ravi.
Ravi who followed team India from Headingley, Leeds replied: “Lovely to meet you too. Thanks so much! I can’t wait to have your bat because you are brilliant cricketer. I think you are the future of Indian cricket. I love cricket, I love watching you bat. I loved your centuries, they were brilliant. On your day you can score big centuries"..
After the interaction with Jaiswal, Ravi said:
"It’s so nice to meet him. He gave me a bat. I love watching him play and I always follow him. I will always support him”.

Meanwhile, Jaiswal at 23 years and 188 days became the second youngest Indian batter to score 2000 runs in Test, in the final session of the third day of the second Test against England at Edgbaston, after the legendary Sachin Tendulkar who achieved the milestone at the age of 20 years 330 days. Jaiswal reached the milestone in just his 21st Test match and 40th innings.
He scored a mature 87 in the first innings and helped India post a first innings total of 587. Jaiswal added 28 in the second innings and etched his name. The southpaw also scored a century in the first innings of the first Test at Headingly, Leeds.
India are on cusp of winning the second Test against England. After Shubman Gill's another century in the second essay, India declared their innings at 427/6 which handed England a monumental target of 608 to chase. In reply, England batters badly faltered as Akash Deep's four-fer left them reeling at 157/6 as of 41.2 overs with Woakes (0*) and Jamie Smith (36*) still intact on the crease.
