While concluding, Ishan ensured that the team management will discuss the key areas of improvement ahead of the next game.

"We are all looking to understand what these guys are doing against us because they have more ideas… Every batter needs to understand, as a team, where we can get those extra 20 runs, whether it’s by scoring boundaries or whether they have to target the gaps. So, these are a few things I feel we’ll talk about as a group, we’ll understand, and we’ll get better with time," Said Ishan Kishan.

What's next for the Indian team?

After suffering their third loss in the last four outings, the Shreyas Iyer-led side will look to work on their weak areas before facing the English side again in the third T20I clash on Tuesday, July 7 at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in West Bridgford. It will be interesting to see if the Indian team management will give another chance to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi or Sanju Samson will return to the playing XI.

Currently, the English team leads the five-game series by 1-0, as the first clash which was played in Durham was abandoned due to heavy rain after the conclusion of India's batting.
