The bowlers dominated the third day of the Centurion Test between India and South Africa on Tuesday (December 28).

While Lungi Ngidi wreaked havoc with his lethal spell of 6/71 for Proteas creating many records, Indian bowlers were no less as they put leash on Dean Elgar’s side. Mohammed Shami led from the front with his top notch display with the ball as he scalped a fantastic fifer to storm into the record books.

As far as wicket keeping is concerned, Rishabh Pant also bagged a record in his name by superseding the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Meanwhile in the tally of some good records, the Indian side added an embarrassing record to its name as they lost seven wickets for 49 runs in their first innings.

However, after summing up South Africa for 197 runs, India made a strong comeback on the strength of the bowlers and took a lead of 146 runs by the end of the third day’s play.
