Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batter Virat Kohli continues to lead in the Orange Cap race. On April 28, Kohli scored 70 not out off 44 balls against the Gujarat Titans, marking his fourth fifty of the season. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad has ascended to second place after hitting 98 runs off just 54 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Chennai on April 28. This follows his century against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 23.

Additionally, Gujarat Titans' (GT) young batter Sai Sudharsan has moved up to the third spot with his performance of 84 runs off 49 balls against RCB on April 28. However, Rajasthan Royals' (RR) skipper Sanju Samson, previously in second place, has now dropped to fourth. On April 27, Samson played a match-winning knock of 71 runs off 33 balls against LSG in Lucknow. In the same match, LSG skipper KL Rahul scored 76 runs off 48 balls, positioning him fifth in the Orange Cap race.

Virat Kohli (RCB)

Kohli remains unbeaten in the Orange Cap race, leading comfortably with a total of 500 runs from just 10 matches, including four fifties and a century, and maintaining a strike rate of 147.49.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK)

After a challenging start to the season, Gaikwad, now captain, seems to have regained his form. He has amassed 447 runs from just nine matches at a strike rate of 149.49, featuring three fifties and a century.

Sai Sudharsan (GT)

The young talent from Tamil Nadu has made a significant impact this season. The left-hander has scored 418 runs from 10 matches at a strike rate of 135.71, with two half-centuries to his credit.

Sanju Samson (RR)

After a slow start, the Indian wicket-keeper batter has found his form in the latter half of the tournament. Rahul has scored 378 runs from nine matches at a strike rate of 144.27, including three half-centuries.
