Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pace sensation Mayank Yadav blew away Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) with his blistering pace on April 2 (Tuesday). In the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Mayank Yadav delivered thunderbolts that made Australian batters Glenn Maxwell and Cameron Green look like greenhorns. The sheer pace of Mayank was a sight to behold as the right-arm pacer ran in and bowled ferocious delivery, one after another.
Mayank Yadav bowls the fastest ball of IPL 2024
The 21-year-old Mayank Yadav broke his own record and registered the fastest ball of the 2024 IPL season. Mayank delivered a 156.7 kmph thunderbolt on the first ball of the seventh over that was nervously defended by Cameron Green. Two balls later, the right-arm bowler delivered a corker of a delivery that completely bamboozled Green. The ball whizzed past Green's outside edge like a rocket and hit the top of the off stump.

Mayank Yadav's super spell at Chinnaswamy
Mayank Yadav delivered one of the most memorable spells of this year's IPL so far on April 2. In his spell of four overs, Mayank Yadav bowled 16 dot deliveries and bagged three wickets. The 21-year-old conceded just 14 runs and wowed onlookers with his blistering pace.
In his first match of the season against Punjab Kings, Mayank Yadav was equally impressive. He bagged three wickets against Punjab Kings as well while his fastest delivery in the match against the Kings was 155.8 kmph.
