Suryakumar Yadav leaves behind Suresh Raina, David Warner to clock this historic IPL feat

Mumbai Indians' star Suryakumar Yadav notched a historic milestone during IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants. Continuing his impressive performance this season, Suryakumar Yadav has now entered the record books by completing 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League.

Suryakumar Yadav required just 33 runs to reach the 4000-run milestone in the IPL. Suryakumar played another impactful innings, reaching the landmark in the 14th over by hitting a boundary off Avesh Khan past short third man. In terms of balls faced, he has now become the quickest Indian player to reach 4000 IPL runs. Suryakumar Yadav surpassed the previous Indian record held by Suresh Raina and now stands as the third-fastest overall to achieve this milestone.

Suryakumar Yadav now joins an elite list of Indian cricketers who have reached the 4000-run mark in the IPL. He becomes the 12th Indian to achieve this milestone, following in the footsteps of prominent players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, and Suresh Raina, among others.

During the recent match against Lucknow Super Giants, Suryakumar Yadav added another big achievement to his Indian Premier League record. He reached the milestone of 150 sixes in the IPL, becoming the 13th Indian batter to achieve this feat.

Suryakumar ended up scoring a blazing 28-ball 52 to help Mumbai Indians post a big total of 215/7 against Lucknow Super Giants.
