Delhi Capitals (DC) star batter Mitchell Marsh smashed 72 runs in 36 balls during their Indian Premier League 2025 opener clash against Lucknow Super Giants at ACA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. Despite Marsh's batting carnage LSG managed to score 209 runs in 20 overs.

"I thought we batted really well, wanted a few more after the way we started, but I think 210 is a very competitive score. I think it's all about backing your skills. Need to keep a partnership going when you are in. You got to back the guys coming in after that kind of start" said Mitchell Marsh during mid inning.
