The Punjab Kings (PBKS) all-rounder was on sidelines but he had to watch his team face a six-run defeat at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final. But, Musheer shrugged off defeat like his brother did after Test squad snub and reached Mumbai to play in T20 Mumbai 2025 opener For ARCS Andheri who lost to SoBo Mumbai Falcons in Super Over after rain interruption.

Captain Shivam Dube asked Musheer to bowl the third over of the innings. He delivered the wicket of opener Ishan Mulchandani. He was bowled for eight runs from five balls by left-arm spinner. He conceded nine runs in his first over. SoBo Mumbai Falcons were 26/1 after three overs when rain played spoilsport. Captain Angrish Raghuvanshi was batting on 15 off 11 balls.
