With the IPL 2026 retention announcement right around the corner, there has been a lot of buzz around the player trades. With the trade window open, there were many players who were linked with different franchises. A total of 8 players trades have been confirmed so far to have taken place.

Here is a look at all the confirmed player trades so far -

1. Ravindra Jadeja to Rajasthan Royals: The all-rounder who spent a total of 12 seasons with the Chennai Super Kings, has been traded by the franchise to the Rajasthan Royals for a fee of INR 14 crore. Multiple reports had come out earlier, claiming that the 36-year-old was headed to the Rajasthan-based franchise but it has now been officially confirmed.

2. Sanju Samson to Chennai Super Kings: The Samson-Jadeja trade was one of the hottest topics of discussion ahead of the IPL 2026 retentions and it has now been cofirmed that the wiocketkeeper-batter will indeed be heading to the 5-time IPL champions for a fee of INR 18 crore.

 3. Sam Curran to Rajasthan Royals: Another player involved in the Samson-Jadeja trade is Sam Curran. The England all-rounder who had been signed by CSK for INR 2.4 crore at the IPL 2025 auction last year, has now been traded to RR for the exact same fee.

4. Mohammed Shami to Lucknow Super Giants: The veteran India pacer has been traded to the Lucknow-based franchise for a fee of INR 10 crore. Shami, who was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderbad for the same fee at the IPL 2025 auction, only spent a single season with the franchise before changing sides.

5. Arjun Tendulkar to Lucknow Super Giants: Another player who has been signed by the Lucknow-based franchise ahead of the retention announcement is Arjun Tendulkar, The all-rounder, who was signed by Mumbai Indians at the IPL 2025 auction for his base price of INR 30 lakh, has been traded to LSG for the same price.

6. Mayank Markande to Mumbai Indians: The spinner is on his way back to the Mumbai-based franchise after not featuring in any match for the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025. Markande, who previously featured  for MI IN ipl 2018, 2019 and 2022, has been snapped by the franchise for a fee of INR 30 lakh.

7. Nitish Rana to Delhi Capitals: The left-hand batter who played for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2025, has been traded to the Delhi-based franchise for a fee of INR 4.2 crore. Rana didn't have a great season with RR and finished with 217 runs from 11 matches. He will be looking to deliver for his new team in the upcoming campaign.

8. Donovan Ferreira to Rajasthan Royals: The South Africa batter, who had been snapped by the Delhi Capitals for INR 75 lakh at the IPL 2025 auction, has now been traded to the Rajasthan Royals. The franchise has paid a fee of INR 1 crore for his services ahead of the upcoming season.
