Glenn Maxwell is going through a lean patch of his career.

Australia star Glenn Maxwell is currently facing a lot of criticism for his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The star player was picked by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the mega auction for Rs 4.2 crore. The all-rounder again failed to perform during his last outing against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He got out after scoring just seven runs before getting dismissed by spinner Varun Chakravarthy. Maxwell managed to score just 48 runs in his seven outings of the cash-rich league.
Iceland Cricket, who are known for their humorous social media posts, took their 'X' formerly known as Twitter to slam the Australian batter for his performance in the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

"We can confirm that Glenn Maxwell has scored 11 runs per crore in IPL 2025" posted Iceland Cricket.

However, PBKS' last clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ended without a result due to persistent rains in Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

PBKS lost three matches and their one clash ended without a result. Punjab Kings will now face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 30 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
