The IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia witnessed the ten franchises spending a whopping 639.15 crores across two days on 182 players. All teams have now gathered their squads for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League following the bidding wars for players.

Star names like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer witnessed teams splashing astonishing amounts of money for them and as witnessed over many past editions, a lot of players make massive gains in their salaries and a big example of that will be KKR's Venkatesh Iyer, who was with the Knights for an amount of 8 crores but after entering the auction pool his bid went up to 23.75 crores. Then some names suffered big pay cuts in their salaries during the two-day bidding extravaganza after being bought for a lower price than their previous fee

Jitesh Sharma (Gain: 5400%): Last Price Rs. 20 Lakh - Current Price Rs. 11 Crore

Young Indian wicket-keeper has joined Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru for a whopping 11 crores. He has even become a known name in the Indian T20I set-up which resulted in this fortune

Akash Deep (Gain: 3900%): Last Price Rs. 20 Lakh - Current Price Rs. 8 Crore 

Former RCB pacer did not see the franchise use their RTM for him but joined Lucknow Super Giants for 8 Crores which means he will now be making massive profits

Noor Ahmad (Gain: 3233%): Last Price Rs. 30 Lakh - Current Price Rs. 10 Crore

Afhanistan's young star has become a part of the five-time champions Chennai Super Kings for 10 crores. The spinner was previously part of GT for only 30 Lakh

Tushar Deshpande (Gain: 3150%): Last Price Rs. 20 Lakh - Current Price Rs. 6.5 Crore 

Pacer who made a name for himself with his run with the Chennai Super Kings will now be a part of the Rajasthan Royals set-up for Rs. 6.5 Crore. CSK did try to get him back but eventually could not.

Rasikh Dar (Gain: 2900%): Last Price Rs. 20 Lakh - Current Price Rs. 6 crores

RCB has bought the services of pacer Rasikh Dar who was one of DC's big finds last year. Rasikh played 8 matches for Delhi Capitals and took up 9 wickets in IPL 2024.

Players who suffered massive loss

Kumar Kushagra (Loss: -91%): Last Price Rs. 7.2 Crore - Current Price Rs. 65 Lakh 

Kumar Kushagra who was with Delhi Capitals last year for a big amount of 7.2 crores could only get 65 Lakhs in the 2025 mega auction. He will be joining the former champions Gujarat Titans.

Anuj Rawat (Loss: -91%): Last Price Rs. 3.4 Crores - Current Price Rs. 30 Lakh 

Anuj Rawat who will also be seen in the GT line-up in the next season at his base price of 30 Lakhs. Rawat was part of RCB for 3.4 crore last year.

Sameer Rizvi (Loss: -89%): Last Price Rs. 8.40 Crore - Current Price Rs. 95 Lakh 

Sameer Rizvi who was signed by CSK last year was considered a big find as he joined the five-time champions for 8.40 crores. This time his price saw a big dip as he went for just 95 Lakhs to Delhi Capitals.

Sam Curran (Loss: -87%): Last Price Rs. 18.50 Crore - Current Price Rs. 2.40 Crore

The English aal-rounder was once the most expensive IPL player after joining Punjab for 18.50 crores but he will be returning to CSK for 2.4 crores which is a big dip from his previous salary 

Shubham Dubey (Loss: -86%): Last Price Rs. 5.80 Crore - Current Price Rs. 80 Lakh
 
Shubham Dubey has become a part of the Rajasthan Royals for 80 Lakhs, this is 5 Crores less than what he got in the previous edition of the IPL
