IPL 2025 mega auction: Sarfaraz Khan yet again failed to attract any bidders in the IPL 2025 mega auction. None of the franchise showed interest in the seasoned player with a strong domestic record and previous IPL experience. However, his younger brother Musheer Khan found a new team in Punjab Kings (PBKS). India's batting sensation Musheer, who also have a stunning track record in the domestic set-up, was hired by PBKS for Rs 30 lakhs.
Sarfaraz Khan's IPL journey began with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2015. Despite being the youngest player to ever feature in the IPL, he struggled to secure consistent opportunities in his three seasons with the franchise. Moving to Punjab Kings (PBKS), Sarfaraz faced similar challenges, playing only a handful of matches over three years. His stint with Delhi Capitals (DC) was also brief, with limited chances in two seasons. Across his IPL career, Sarfaraz has played 50 matches, scoring 585 runs at an average of 22.50 and a strike rate of 130.58.
Talking about Musheer, the star all-rounder cracked a stunning 181 runs for India B in the Duleep Trophy match against India A.
