RR are out from the IPL 2025.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) climbed off the bottom of the IPL 2025 table with a crucial six-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who now find themselves rooted to the foot of the standings. A fiery half-century from Vaibhav Suryavanshi laid the foundation for the Royals’ chase, while Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer provided the finishing touches with some powerful late hitting.

Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants became the latest team to go out of the playoff race. Their campaign officially ended on Monday after a six-wicket defeat — ironically, to themselves as mentioned in some reports, though it was their opponents who knocked them out. With that loss, LSG joined the likes of CSK, RR, KKR, and SRH among the eliminated sides.

Only one playoff spot remains up for grabs, and it’s now a straight shootout between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals. Fittingly, these two will face off in a decisive group stage match on Wednesday that will determine who clinches the fourth and final place in the playoffs.
