Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 14 runs in their 10 clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi to keep their playoff hopes alive. The win took KKR to nine points from 10 matches to be placed seventh, a point behind Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). On the other hand, it was Delhi Capitals' third loss in their last four games. They remain in fourth spot with 12 points from 10 matches, a point ahead of Punjab Kings, which has a game in hand.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi's stunning century helped Rajasthan Royals (RR) to defeat Gujarat Titans (GT) by eight wickets in their last IPL outing in Jaipur. With its third win of the season, the Royals moved to eighth in the points table and kept its faint playoff hopes alive.

Coming back to the clash, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Delhi Capitals by 14 runs. Asked to bat, a collective batting effort helped Kolkata Knight Riders post 204 for 9. Their bowlers, led by Sunil Narine 3/29, then restricted the Capitals to 190/9 despite contributions by Faf du Plessis (62), Axar Patel (43) and Vipraj Nigam (38). Earlier, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (44 off 32 balls) top-scored for KKR. Mitchell Starc (3/43) picked up three wickets for the hosts, while spinners Axar 2/27 and Nigam (2/41) chipped in with two wickets apiece.
