He cracked his maiden IPL century in the third match of the season, where SRH faced the Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. His lighting century helped SRH post the second highest total of 286/6 in IPL history. SRH hold the record of highest total in IPL history, when they posted a colossal 287/3 against RCB in 2024 season.

After a seven-year stint with the Mumbai Indians, Kishan joined SRH this season, determined to make an immediate impact. It was his first IPL century in his tenth season, a milestone he had long awaited. Kishan seamlessly integrated into SRH's aggressive batting approach, mirroring the explosive style of their left-handed openers, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. His presence was instantly felt within the star-studded lineup. The dynamic batter's innings culminated in a remarkable 106 runs off just 47 balls, featuring eleven boundaries and six sixes, all achieved at an astonishing strike rate of 225.53.
The 26-year-old, who has represented India across all three formats, achieved his milestone by scoring a double off the final delivery of Sandeep Sharma's 19th over. His innings was characterized by aggressive strokeplay, featuring ten boundaries and six towering sixes. This century represents Kishan's maiden hundred in the IPL. Notably, his previous highest score in the league was a near-century, where he scored 99 runs off 58 balls for the Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore in a 2020 match held in Dubai.

Following this, Kishan continued his strong performance, adding another 72 runs in partnership with Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored 30 runs from 15 balls. These partnerships steered SRH to a massive total of 286/6.
