LSG IPL 2026 retention list: Know Lucknow Super Giants' full list of retained and released players ahead of mini auction

Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has had a forgetful season in the last edition of the Indian Premier League, where the franchise finished seventh in the points table with six wins in the 14 outings of the cash-rich league. The Uttar Pradesh-based franchise has traded veteran speedster Mohammed Shami from the Sunrisers Hyderabad who was the second-most expensive acquisition for the Hyderabad-based team. Skipper Rishabh Pant will continue to lead the side in the upcoming edition of the tournament. 

Lucknow Super Giants player trades: Mohammad Shami (Rs 10 crore) and Arjun Tendulkar (Rs 30 lakh) traded in from Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians, respectively.  Shardul Thakur (Rs 2 crore) traded out to the Mumbai Indians.

Lucknow Super Giants released players: Aryan Juyal, David Miller, Yuvraj Chaudhary, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Akash Deep, Ravi Bishnoi, and Shamar Joseph.

Retained players: Abdul Samad, Ayush Badoni, Aiden Markram, Matthew Breetzke, Himmat Singh, Rishabh Pant (c), Nicholas Pooran, Mitchell Marsh, Shahbaz Ahmed, Arshin Kulkarni, Mayank Yadav, Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, Manimaran Siddharth, Digvesh Rathi, Prince Yadav, Akash Singh.
