Coming back to CSK vs RCB clash, RCB captain Rajat Patidar's fifty and excellent support from an unerring set of bowlers helped the Bengaluru-based franchise to break the 17-year winless streak at Chepauk with a huge 50-run victory.

After scoring 196/7, RCB applied the perfect squeeze on CSK with early strikes and the five-time winners crumbled without any resistance, making 146/8. CSK's defeat against RCB at MA Chidambaram Stadium was their first since the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008, and it was also their biggest reversal at home thus far.

Chennai Super Kings will now face Rajasthan Royals for their third clash of the tournament, which will take place on March 30 at ACA Stadium in Guwahati.
