Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spinner Noor Ahmad reacted after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated them by 50 runs in their second clash of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Noor Ahmad was the standout performer for CSK as he picked up three wickets in his four-over quota, conceding 36 runs.
Noor took his Instagram to share pictures after CSK's defeat against RCB in Chennai. He captioned the post "Tough result last night will bounce back."
CSK have played two matches in the IPL 2025 so far, where they defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) in their opener clash at the same venue by four wickets.
Coming back to CSK vs RCB clash, RCB captain Rajat Patidar's fifty and excellent support from an unerring set of bowlers helped the Bengaluru-based franchise to break the 17-year winless streak at Chepauk with a huge 50-run victory.
After scoring 196/7, RCB applied the perfect squeeze on CSK with early strikes and the five-time winners crumbled without any resistance, making 146/8. CSK's defeat against RCB at MA Chidambaram Stadium was their first since the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008, and it was also their biggest reversal at home thus far.
Chennai Super Kings will now face Rajasthan Royals for their third clash of the tournament, which will take place on March 30 at ACA Stadium in Guwahati.
