Indian cricketer Varun Chakaravarthy, who is currently featuring for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, reacted to 'Operation Sindoor' launched by the Indian Armed Forces for carrying out precision strikes on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), days after the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people.
Chakaravarthy, who was part of India's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squad, took his Instagram to share a post for 'Operation Sindoor'. Here is the social media post.
Apart from Chakaravarthy for India and Chennai Super Kings star all-rounder Suresh Raina also shared a story on his social media.
On May 7, early morning, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed, said an official statement from the Minister of Defence.

Chakaravarthy who played 82 IPL matches and picked up 98 wickets at an average of 23.60. He recently featured for KKR in their last outing against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, where he picked up two wickets in a winning cause.
Defending champions KKR have had a forgettable outing in the IPL 2025 as the franchise managed to win five matches out of their 11 outings. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side are currently at the number six in the points table. KKR will now face five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their upcoming clash which will take place at the same venue on May 7.
