DC are currently on second in IPL 2025 points table.

RCB are currently on third in the IPL 2025 points table.

Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar reckons that Royal Challengers Bengaluru star opener Virat Kohli will be ready to give a reply to Delhi Capitals star KL Rahul for his wild celebration at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bangar believes that Kohli would be looking to stage a similar moment on his home ground, just as KL Rahul did at Chinnaswamy after his match-winning knock when RCB and DC met earlier in the ongoing IPL 2025 season.

After guiding DC to a six-wicket win against RCB in Bengaluru on April 10 with an unbeaten 93 off 53 balls, he celebrated to signal that Chinnaswamy Stadium was now his "home turf." Both RCB and DC will be featuring against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

However, Bangar, speaking to Star Sports, suggested that Kohli might take his reply a notch higher by pointing towards the stand named after him at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

"I think Virat would do a little bit differently. I think he will show that, 'OK, that pavilion in which you're sitting, it's mine'. Who's the boss? Virat is the boss there," Bangar said.

Both Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are currently going through a purple patch of their career. Kohli scored 392 runs in nine outings and KL Rahul scored 323 runs in seven outings of the ongoing 18th edition of the tournament.

KL Rahul's Delhi Capitals (DC) are currently second in the points table with six wins in eight outings of the tournament behind Gujarat Titans (GT). On the other hand, RCB are currently third in the tally with six wins in nine outings. Both sides are tied at 12 points each, Delhi Capitals sit second due to having played one less game compared to Bengaluru.
