As the race for the playoffs intensifies, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) host table-toppers Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 49th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. PBKS have suffered two consecutive losses whereas SRH suffered their first defeat in previous encounter after five consecutive wins.

Xavier Bartlett and Marco Jansen are likely to continue as Azmatullah Omarzai will be available for selection in PBKS’ next game. Meanwhile, Nehal Wadhera has been out of form. He is likely to sit out if Shashank Singh has regained full fitness. PBKS also have the option of including Vishnu Vinod who is yet to get a game this season.
