Rajasthan Royals (RR) secured a massive win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Tuesday, May 20 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. While chasing a huge target of 221, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored an astonishing knock of 93 runs off just 38 balls to seal the win for RR.

The young RR opener won the Player of the Match award for his stunning knock. During his stay at the crease, Sooryavanshi smashed 10 massive sixes and seven boundaries to secure the win with five balls to spare.

With this stunning knock, Vaibhav has become the top-scoring Indian teenager in T20s beating Ishan Kishan. The 15-year old has amassed 1280 runs after playing 31 matches. Previously, the record was held by Ishan Kishan, who scored 1194 T20 runs in 55 games before turning 20-years-old.

After playing a terrific knock of 93 runs, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has gathered a whopping 579 runs in just 13 matches at an average of 44.54 with a jaw dropping strike rate of 236.32. Currently, he holds the orange cap. It would be interesting to see if he could continue his red-hot form in their last league game against Mumbai Indians.
