Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill was spotted having a heated conversation with the umpire after his controversial dismissal in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A video is going viral on the social sphere where Gill can be seen having a heated argument with the umpire. Here is the clip.

Gill got dismissed in the 13th over of the first inning, bowled by leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari. With Gill going strong and primed for his first century of IPL 2025, Jos Buttler carted the ball from the leg-spinner at short fine leg, and Harshal Patel threw the ball. With the stumps behind Heinrich Klaasen, he threw the ball without looking, and it flicked the poles.

However, there were reservations over whether the ball hit the stumps or the keeper's gloves. Eventually, the decision went in favour of the SunRisers, and Gill had to walk back for 76 off 38 balls.

Coming back to the match, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler's dominating batting performance propelled Gujarat Titans to 224 for six against SRH. Gill blazed away to a 38-ball 76, while Sudharsan chipped in with a breezy 23-ball 48 while forging an opening stand of 87 runs in just 6.5 overs, following which Buttler took GT past 200 with his 64 off 37 deliveries. Jaydev Unadkat (3/35) picked up three wickets in the 20th over that went for 12 runs.

Brief Scores:

Gujarat Titans 224 for 6 in 20 overs (Shubman Gill 76, Jos Buttler 64; Jaydev Unadkat 3/35).
